The Unstoppable
2025 · Archival pigment print · Edition of 12 + 1 AP · 44 × 66 in. (112 × 168 cm) · $20,000 USDAbout this artwork
Tiger wildlife art with architectural presence
The Unstoppable captures a tiger at the point where controlled movement becomes pure momentum. The animal fills the wide frame, creating an immediate sense of approach, yet the monochrome treatment gives the image formal discipline. Blackwell’s close perspective places the collector inside the encounter rather than observing it from a distance. At 66 inches wide, the work has enough scale to transform a principal wall while its shallow height suits placement above furniture. Studio 54 Fine Art sold an example for €18,000 to a German doctor in January 2026. Marco’s specialist fine-art laboratory in the Netherlands produced the print and framing to an exceptional standard, then completed white-glove delivery to the collector. Current edition availability is confirmed in writing by the gallery before purchase.
Blackwell’s decision to isolate the subject allows its gaze, surface and tonal structure to carry the image. At this scale the work reads clearly from across a room, while fine detail rewards a closer view. It is suited to a principal living space, private office, entrance hall or hospitality interior where the work has sufficient distance and light.

Protecting the print
Display away from direct sunlight and strong UV exposure. Maintain stable household humidity and avoid damp or rapid temperature changes. Conservation glazing and archival mounting materially protect the print; expected longevity depends on the final paper, ink, glazing and display conditions.
